WHY CHOOSE TO RENT WITH US ?
When I first came to Pattaya several years ago, my intention was to stay for 12 months, so I looked for a nice condo to rent and was shown around dozens of potential properties by various agents.
With a monthly budget of 15-20,000 Baht, Most turned out to be a huge disappointment – some of the common problems were: lousy views, noisy area, cheap fit out, old and tired fixtures, tired communal areas, no water heating, dirty beaches, poor condo management, sparsely furnished, and general lack of imagination to make the place feel “homely”.
A few years later, having decided to make Pattaya my home, I looked around to purchase some condos that would be suitable for “renting out”.
My first criteria was – “ would I live there myself ” ?? – in my book, it was no use trying to rent the place out, if I wouldn’t touch it with a barge pole.
Second, was
the area – It had to be nice and quiet, near a good clean beach, but not too far from “the action”,
for when you wanted to dip your toe in – So, it had to be Wongamat, and as near
to the beach as possible.
So, having bought on a lovely development, with beautiful views and just 2 minutes walk from Wongamat Beach, I used a highly experienced and renowned company for the “fit out” .
We went for decent quality European kitchens with granite counter
tops - High end bathrooms with mirrored vanity units. concealed air con units / lighting, and a high power water heater, that heats all the water in the
condo, not just the shower (many condos just have a cheap electric shower, meaning you'll be doing your washing up with cold water).
Then it was time to furnish the place – I went for King size 6’ beds, with European quality “slumberland” mattresses, high quality curtains with black out lining, good size fridge/freezer, nice table & chairs, comfy sofa, plasma screen TV, all to make the place feel “like home”.
All our rental condos come with:
· Balcony furniture.
· Fly screens to the front door, side windows (1 bed unit only) and patio doors.
· Microwave, Kettle & toaster.
· Good quality bed sheets (plus mattress and pillow protectors).
. Plasma screen TV with Cable channels and DVD player.
· Hi grade, ultra quiet digital fan (in addition to the air conditioning).
· Cooking utensils / pots, pans, plates and cutlery.
· Plenty of bath / hand towels.
· Water heaters that heat all the water in the condo (not just the shower).
· Plenty of hanging / drawer space for your clothes.
· Bins in kitchen and bathroom.

Lastly, I live in the same building as the rental condos (you
remember my criteria “ would I live there myself ” ?) – so I am on hand to sort out any
problems immediately (I remember the first place I rented, the landlord
lived in the USA – any problems, the agent had to e mail him – I once was
without air con for well over a week, because they couldn’t contact him).
